Page testing
Our tailored services give an insight into the website speed and availability that end-users actually experience when downloading pages from your website. We can download any pages you choose at regular intervals collecting performance information, including availability, any error detail, page sizes and download speeds.

We’ll tell you how consistently your site performs with detailed speed analysis showing performance variations over time - enabling you to analyse how stability is affected by time of day or week, or load on your servers.
 
Authenticated login testing
If you rely on a login to secure pages for revenue or customer usage, then a lack of reliability could cost you sales and potentially customer loyalty.We can use any authentication details you provide to ensure these areas are accessible from the Internet throughout periods of time you specify.
 
Search testing
If the search function on your website responds too slowly, or worse fails, will your users go elsewhere to obtain the information they are seeking?

We will download the page that contains the search form, complete the form, and monitor how long it takes the results to be returned to the user. This will allow you to see how consistently your search engine performs identifying any performance variations over time. We will also inspect the returned results and ensure they contain the relevant details by looking for a particular phrase in the page.
 
Transaction testing
Using our bespoke service you can monitor any multiple-step transactions or user journeys through your site. Whether it be booking a holiday, purchasing insurance, or even applying for a job, Site Confidence can ensure your key processes are functioning in a proper and timely manner throughout your core business hours and beyond. Any application a user can use on your site, we can monitor. There’s no software to purchase or install, our dedicated technical support engineers will configure the monitoring to fit your requirements precisely and ensure you are notified whenever those key applications are not performing to your expectations.
 
Message Monitor
In conjunction with our Transaction Monitoring service, the Message Monitor service can track individual messages that are generated by a variety of activities on your website.
A record is generated as soon as the message is sent and the Message Monitor tracks how long it takes for the message to arrive. You can then choose to apply metrics for successful delivery in the form of time limits.

Competitor monitoring
You nominate the competitor websites for site availability and download speed monitoring. We will provide reporting on your performance vs. these competitors. If you haven't got up-to-date information on competitor activity, how can you make the right decisions to improve performance?
 
SLA monitoring
A special variant of page testing performs downloads of key content once every minute. The data collected is then carefully crafted into specific reports for the purposes of reviewing any existing Service Level Agreements or guarantees. The independence of Site Confidence and the data we collect will be invaluable when policing service delivery with any third party, whether they be hosting or bandwidth providers, affiliates or your customers.
 
FTP server testing
In addition to HTTP, our test agents also support the standard FTP protocol. We can initiate sessions with your FTP servers at regular intervals to ensure they are available to your users. Just like page testing we will monitor the performance of these servers capturing connection speeds and availability.
 
Email server testing
Our test agents also support the standard email server protocols, POP, IMAP and SMTP. We can initiate sessions with your email servers at regular intervals to ensure they are available to your users. Just like page testing we will monitor the performance of these servers capturing connection speeds and availability.
 
Others, as required
We currently monitor a number of web service based applications on behalf of existing customers. Some involve Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) compliance, eXtensible Markup Language (XML) data exchanges or other customised downloads. Due to the bespoke nature of the managed service we offer we are interested in monitoring any Internet based services that are key to your business.
